In the novel Lord of the Flies by William Golding, a plane full of schoolchildren was shot down and crashed on an island with no idea of what to do next. The boy's wild behavior comes from biological factors because the environment has nothing to do with it! The boy has become feral because of his way of thinking when he first arrives on the island. We can choose to follow what the mind says instead of putting things into perspective and thinking about the consequences. The mind has a good side and a bad side, the decision made must be thought through to find which one to follow.
