    Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm are well-known authors from the early 1800s who forever changed the way fairy tales are perceived. The Brothers Grimm are best known for their creative interpretations of popular fairy tales such as Tangled, Snow White, Hansel and Gretel and many others. Dark and tragic themes were used to create Grimm's fairy tales, the use of these themes represented a drastic departure from the normal fairy tales of the 1800s. The Brothers Grimm were responsible for creating one side new and dark stories for children. Their creativity can be seen in their childhood, their writings and their fame. Since their youth, Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm have demonstrated creativity and potential for success. Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm were born just a year apart in Ganau, Germany, in the years 1786 and 1785 (The World of Tales). Brother Grimm's father was a successful lawyer who died tragically in 1796, leaving his sons with many household responsibilities. (Bio.com). As the oldest two of six children, Jacob and Wilhelm were forced to mature and become responsible for their siblings after their father's death (Bio.com). During the boy's adolescence, they put their creativity to use in their studies and writing. Fortunately, Wilhelm and Jacob's aunt paid their tuition, allowing the boys to test their knowledge and find a career they would enjoy (The World of Tales). Surprisingly, Wilhelm and Jacob went to college to become lawyers, because as you might have guessed, the Brothers Grimm didn't stay in law school for long (Bio.com). After being influenced by the writers of German Romanticism, the brothers left their law studies and began studying folklore, a subject that really interested them. (Bio.com). After the Brothers Grimm studied folklore, they decided to write their own creation...... middle of paper ...... from their youth, to their writings, and finally to their fame. Without creativity, the works of the Brothers Grimm would be boring, lifeless and unpopular. The creativity used by the Brothers Grimm set their stories apart from all other stories of their time and paved the way for many other similar stories. The creativity of the Brothers Grimm inspires many other writers to test their ideas and make breakthroughs in the world of writing.
