    Language barriers fall into various categories, in writing and even in the products sold by the company. “Other tools to eliminate language barriers include conducting job site and new employee safety orientations in the predominant foreign language, as well as in English” (Kalarao, 2004, p. 65 ). Organizations need to ensure their leadership teams are competent when it comes to articulating information, whether via email, in reports, or verbally. When it comes to conflicts, language barriers can often become a breeding ground for conflicts between workers and workers, or between workers and management. Sometimes an overload of information distributed can cause obstacles and confusion in the workplace. “By sifting through what you want to say and selecting only the most relevant and timely comments, you avoid overwhelming your employees with too much detail” (Stettner, 2014, chap 5, p. 7). When there is an information gap between employees and employers, it is up to management to find the root of the problem and resolve it, to prevent the problem from recurring or becoming a larger conflict. This will include training for managers, not always firing the employee, but trying to understand how the problem arose and how to avoid it in the future.
