As we now know, "Girl, Interrupted" revolves around Susanna Kaysen and her personal experience of being placed in the hospital and being diagnosed. The memoir also included several other people she got to know and socialize with during her extended stay at the facility. We were able to detect signs that she might have a case of borderline personality disorder. First of all, we knew that she had attempted suicide by drinking a bottle of aspirin.
