    As we now know, "Girl, Interrupted" revolves around Susanna Kaysen and her personal experience of being placed in the hospital and being diagnosed. The memoir also included several other people she got to know and socialize with during her extended stay at the facility. Even though all of these women slept under the same roof, their disorders and conditions were mostly very different. The main characters of note were Susanna Kaysen, Lisa, Georgina Tuskin and Daisy Randone. Let's start with Susanna. We were able to detect signs that she might have a case of borderline personality disorder. First of all, we knew that she had attempted suicide by drinking a bottle of aspirin. BPD is characterized by frequent uncontrollable actions. Suicide attempts are common among patients with BPD. She had several partners in the past but was unable to maintain a long-term relationship.
