Essay / The advantages of studying in a private school in...
Back home, here in Tonsuya, only a few can afford to study in a private school. I come from a private school, that's why some of the kids here who were my age or a few years younger than me feel uncomfortable when I approach them, they would say "bakit ako nilalapitan nito?" or "nako taga private school yan" and i feel sad because i want to make friends with them but they don't want to because maybe they feel small every time i approach them, it's is why when I was a child, I played alone by myself. Most of my cousins also study in public school, so whenever there are meetings, we make them feel comfortable and not degraded. Our parents told us that we should not discriminate against others despite what they are in society; we are all created equally by God. According to Article XV, Sec. Article 1 of the Constitution states that “the State ensures and promotes the right of all citizens to quality education at all levels and takes appropriate measures to make this education accessible to all. » It is one of the dreams of creators who should have known that, like social justice, government transparency and other fantasies, it belonged to the wonderful land of Oz (Cruz, 04/05/2009). The quality of education here in the Philippines has two sides: the good and the bad. The good one is that offered by private schools. Apart from good facilities, they also have updated books that can help students learn more about the subjects they are studying as well as technology. Many technologies are now designed for students to complete homework easily. The bad side is that in public schools, I observed that some students no longer paid attention to their lessons because of the clutter in the classrooms, some were eager to learn but did not have enough books or technology to study and better understand their lesson. This can also affect the progress of our country because students are the future workers of our country. Victor T. King mentioned this underdevelopment in his study. Underdevelopment is a country that has many problems in terms of job opportunities, limited resources, etc. For me, underdevelopment is the effect of educating this group of graduates, I am not saying that public schools cannot produce good students, what I am saying is that sometimes this depends on the student, his desire to learn the lesson..
