Essay / Air Technology - 914
Air technology grew as new laws forced factories and factories to comply with government requirements. The three main types of air technology included wind power, biofuels and nuclear power. These forms of aerial technology were created as a result of laws and legislation, which led to many new inventions. Wind power, biofuels and nuclear power were important energy resources for air technology. Wind power, biofuels, and nuclear power were the three main types of air technology. Wind energy came from wind turbines. There were two types of wind turbines: horizontal axis wind turbines and vertical axis wind turbines. Horizontal axis wind turbines looked like windmills. Vertical axis wind turbines looked like egg beaters. Wind energy was “clean, safe, and infinitely renewable” (Alternative Energy 321). This type of energy was healthy for the air because it did not pollute. Additionally, it was “profitable” (Alternative Energy 321). Biofuels were made from plants such as wood, straw and manure. They were burned and the energy released was used as fuel. For example, a power plant in Burlington, Vermont was fueled by wood. Biofuels are good for the economy. This source “promised lucrative new markets for agricultural products” (The New York Times: Biofuels). Nuclear energy was released inside the nucleus of an atom. Nuclear energy is not based on carbon. In the mid-20th century, nuclear power was thought to produce “cheap and limited electricity” (Wald). However, in the late 20th century, accidents such as the one at Three Mile Island began to occur in the mid-20th century. The government realized that there was no place to store the waste and construction costs were high, around middle of paper......r entered the cyclone and was collapsed. As a result, the dirt particles were thrown to the side, where they were collected in a collective jump. Clean air came out from the top. In an electronic precipitator, dirt particles were trapped in hot gases, then “attracted by static electricity” and finally eliminated (Desonie). As science improved, new technologies were discovered at the same time. Air technology, when new laws required factories and factories to meet government requirements. Some of these aerial technologies included wind power, biofuels and nuclear power. These technologies were discovered during the adoption of laws and legislation. Inventions were created when the government forced factories and factories to use the best available technology. Air technology continues to improve as experiments are conducted on air quality..
