    The communication process consists of two elements. The source who wants the message to be sent and the recipient who accepts the message. The receiver then provides feedback to the original source. These messages may contain obstacles that prevent their intention from getting through. There are verbal and non-verbal means of communication. Coca Cola has many different communication channels within its organization. It starts with the CEO, Mr. Muhtar Kent. Mr. Kent's goal is to lead Coca Cola toward a more sustainable future and become a more profitable growing company. These objectives will not be achieved if communication is not an essential element of their strategy. Kent and the board of directors must establish an action plan and communicate it to senior operations management. This management team has nine members and controls the company's global market divisions in different regions around the world. Communicating their directions to different divisions can become a tenuous activity. Linguistic differences between company divisions and leaders can become an obstacle in decoding the messages sent. Although it is difficult to find research on how they handle this obstacle, the company should hire interpreters to ensure they receive the desired message. They could potentially also receive their messages electronically so that the interpreter could receive each word spoken and relay that message. In return, employees could feel a sense of loyalty and belonging to the company and increase their overall production. Communication within the Coca Cola Company and how it communicates with consumers is a critical part of their overall strategic initiatives. It is always possible to continually improve certain areas, but Coca Cola seems to have understood the concept and is continually looking for other ways to improve its communication process. It is important for them that the recipient clearly understands the message and applies appropriate feedback. This is a company that realizes that the intended message could be misinterpreted. Coca Cola is trying to implement these programs to better understand the communication barriers that may arise.
