Why don't we try to rid our nation of these stereotypes that are doing so much damage to our citizens? The answer is very simple; media companies are smart, very smart. Society wants to see “beautiful” people and media companies want to make money. If media companies realize that society wants to see attractive people, it makes perfect sense for them to publish attractive people. When companies give a customer what they want, they are more likely to continue purchasing that product. On top of that, if media companies make more money by producing content with "more attractive" people, then, from a business perspective, there would be no reason for them to stop publish this content.
