Essay / Causes of Climate Change - 1235
Scientists and researchers use science and scientific methods to understand what is happening to the environment, climates and everything related to them. Scientific methods include generating hypotheses, conducting experiments and producing data they can rely on and disseminating them confidently among citizens. For many years, scientific research has studied the changes that occur over time and how climate changes and affects the Earth and life on Earth. Xifra (2015) argues that science produces more compelling and more distressing analyses, meaning that science is effectively saying that there is a global-scale shift driving climate change, but that there is a gap in knowledge between scientific research and social responses to climate change. O'Connor et al. (2015) states that many studies conducted demonstrate that climate change has affected marine biological systems more than other factors; and confidently attributing biological change to climate change is important for the application of scientific research to decision-making. Basically, even though there are believers and deniers, believers share the same beliefs that science says about climate change and its consequences..
