Self-government provides greater control and legislative power over a full range of control, including governance and social and economic development. Self-government provisions may include health care and social services, policing, property rights in housing, and children's war. Unconditional support, responding to the diverse economic conditions of indigenous communities, encouragement of taxation and many other provisions aimed at equity among indigenous governments and adjustment to adapt to the range of powers exercised and services provided, all help the natives. The more administrative organizations correspond to the social origins of their constituent groups, the more remarkable their authenticity and viability.
