Some of the problems are: 1- Aging inmates: This type of inmates needs additional services, especially regarding their health and their ability to help themselves do some basic things. 2- Prison Gang Assets: Prison gangs are a well-known problem, they even make movies about it. 3- Sexual harassment and rape are another problem, especially young and weak inmates who might be victims of such crimes. The ethical consideration for this issue will be to place young and weak inmates in a single cell. More ethical issues in probation: potential role conflicts that arise from the two major roles traditionally assigned to probation officers: that of helping officer and that of enforcer of the legal condition. .
