Girls are more concerned with having fashionable clothes and looking cute. I was in high school last year, I remember the spirit of a high school girl. I know that the majority of girls I went to high school with tried to make their bodies look "hot" to get boys' attention. If all the girls in school wore the same clothes, a girl wouldn't have to worry about what to wear, whether her clothes are cute, or whether boys find her attractive. A girl may also feel comfortable that boys can't judge who has the prettiest body or clothes. Mandatory uniforms should force students to concentrate more on their studies. The article by John Hoge, Stuart J. Foster, Pat Nickell, and Sherry L. Field titled "Mandatory School Uniforms: A Student Debate" recorded that eighty-two percent of parents and teachers thought school uniforms helped remind students that they came to school to learn.
