Che Guevara and Fidel Castro both played important roles in the history of Cuba in the late 20th century. The question is: “Should they be considered heroes or villains?” » Answers would vary from person to person. To base my opinion, I took a closer look at the entire Cuban revolution as well as the political career of Fidel Castro. Che Guevara was originally a doctor and he studied at a good university since he was born into a rich family. He began thinking about communism in the 1940s after a trip to South America. He believed that governments of all countries neglected the poor. Communism was for him the best economic system because everything is distributed equally to everyone. He wanted to unite countries and get rid of foreign influence. Fidel Castro was a Cuban revolutionary who rejected democracy. At that time, General Fulgencio Batista ruled the country using the democratic economic system. After an unsuccessful attempt at an uprising against the government, Fidel Castro was sentenced to 15 years in prison. He was released under amnesty and fled...
