    INTRODUCTIONAgritourism as generally well defined involves an agricultural operation or activity that brings tourists to a farm or ranch. Agrotourism has different explanations in different parts of the world, and sometimes refers specifically to farm stays like in Italy. Elsewhere, agritourism includes a wide variety of events, including buying produce directly from a farm stand, picking fruit, feeding animals, or staying in a B&B on a farm. Partners for Sustainable Tourism seeks to match local needs, business opportunities and sustainability in the tourism sector. This goes beyond traditional corporate social responsibility, focusing on how partners' products and services can bring inventive solutions to the end recipients of tourism projects. The partners will be involved in the design, development and operation of the projects, enabling them to add value and invention to the tourism sector, while conquering new markets and exploiting one of the largest global consumption centers. Our ultimate goal is to stimulate innovative tools and policies for small businesses in the region's tourism sector to develop their access to finance, knowledge and markets, strengthening their capacity to sustainably plan and administer tourism destinations .LITERATURE REVIEWThe governance of tourism destinations is an evolving research topic.
