Essay / The Prophet Muhammad: The Life of the Prophet Muhammad
When the Prophet moved from Mecca to Medina, he did not simply change his living conditions or move to another city, but when he touched his base in Medina, he began to change this city enormously in every way. The first thing he did was to found a mosque to worship Allah. He carried and transported the stones for the building himself. This was the beginning of the creation of many other mosques in Medina. The Prophet established relationships with different groups living in Medina. There was a large Jewish group and a few other Arab tribes who did not recognize Islam. The Prophet made an agreement for the relations between these two groups. Additionally, the Prophet asked his companions to help him dig holes in order to create an irrigation system in different parts of Medina. With over 50 wells, the Prophet helped provide pure water to everyone. Overall, the Hijrah shows that wherever Muslims go, they should do everything possible to create good in that place in order to build a happier and stronger world.
