Online learning can help students learn better Throughout the development of education, online learning is becoming more and more more popular. Some students think that it is a good thing for them since they can get the latest news on the Internet. On the other hand, some students prefer to use their computers for playing games rather than studying. Educators are debating whether implementing online learning could improve students' academic performance. Online education is growing rapidly and becoming a feasible alternative to traditional learning. According to a 2008 study by the U.S. Department of Education, during the 2006-2007 academic year, approximately 66 percent of public and private postsecondary schools began participating in student financial aid programs offering distance education courses, the record shows only 77% of registrations for credit courses are for those with an online component (Agarwal, 2013). In 2008, the Council of Europe adopted a declaration endorsing the potential of e-learning to drive improvements in equality and education across the EU (Standing Committee, 2008) . There is strong evidence that implementing online learning can help students learn better than traditional learning because it can increase learners' responsibility, select learning materials based on their skills and learn the updated materials. The first reason to support online learning is that learners can choose to learn materials that match their level of knowledge and interest. Self-paced learning modules allow learners to work at their own pace, which can provide them with the opportunity to learn according to their abilities and progress.
