  • Essay / Phenomenology and Architecture - 2092

IntroductionPhenomenology can be considered both an unambiguous area of academic research and a stream of theoretical design within contemporary architecture and is generally grounded in experience with the materials used in construction, including their sensory characteristics. In this regard, architecture is the driving force behind the transformation and inspiration of an individual's daily existence. Unlike other art forms, architecture exploits the immediacy of an individual's sensory perception. The complete architectural experience depends on many factors such as details, materials, texture, color phenomena, transparency and shadows, the passage of time, etc. There is a huge phenomenon that phenomenology does not exist in architecture but rather the problems associated with it. This theory is very questionable and this article will aim to expose some of the aspects associated with the phenomenology.Science of acoustic intimacyThe ear, which is the organ that the body uses to achieve acoustic intimacy, is capable of defining a space and the resulting effect is a sculptural image encrypted in the depths of the mind. Acoustic science dictates that sound can be softened or refracted by the surfaces of many entities in personal life. All spaces and buildings possess individual characteristic sounds of monumentality or intimacy, hostility or hospitality, and invitation or rejection. The ability to hear generates a feeling of solidarity and connection unlike the ability to see which creates a feeling of loneliness. The sound of a friend approaching you behind your back definitely has an emotional charge like the middle of a paper......nds: TU Delft Department of Industrial Design, 2006.Holl, Steven , Juhani Pallasma and Alberto Perez-Gomez.
