I was offered a kinesiology elective. Kinesiology is an integral part of physiotherapy. I decided to take it because I was on the football team and needed to stay in top physical shape. Based on what I understood about kinesiology, I thought it would be helpful to know the inner workings of training and staying physically fit. During my time in this class, I learned about the musculoskeletal system, nutrition, anatomy, and just about everything related to kinesiology. At the time I wasn't really considering a career in kinesiology, I had a stronger interest in the sciences, but my interest in kinesiology was still predominant. If I had followed this interest, my choice would have been much easier to make and I would already have a plan of what I want to do.
