Essay / Reflection on Vegetarianism - 1153
We believe that there should be animal meat or a dairy product at every lunch and dinner hour. I'm not a guy who studies history but as far as I know our Muslim ancestors are semi-vegetarian. They do not eat meat daily. The rich eat meat once a week and the poor meet once a year during the celebration of Eid al-Adha. All Muslims know that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) ate meat during his life. Consequently, there will be a judge who will consider that the Muslim who chooses to live as a vegetarian is against the Sunnah. Moreover, they tend to consider the vegetarian Muslim as a Kafir because they think that the vegetarian Muslim follows the practices of Buddhism or Hinduism.
