Tschannen-Moran (2004) posits that principals and teachers who trust each other can work better together in service of difficult school issues. It is imperative that my actions within the school and the school community be an example of reliability, never taking sides with an opposing team, but striving to maintain a balance of fairness between all members of the staff. The reflective discussion questions provided by Tschannen-Moran (2004) at the end of each chapter provide food for thought. “What steps have you taken to cultivate trusting relationships with parents and the community at large? » (Tschannen-Moran, 2004).
