    Police stress is considered a structural problem that is part of police culture (Kappeler and Potter, 2005). The argument made is that the work environment causes stress. Even though a police officer's job is not as dangerous, officers still view danger as a source of stress. Police stress can be divided into three sources: professional, work-related and external stress (Kappeler & Potter, 2005). The mere thought of work stresses out agents. Work-related circumstances, such as answering calls, can also create stress. Finally, external sources such as personal stress can all lead to an agent being very
