    A recent survey by the National Sleep Foundation found that 60% of children under the age of 18 protested about being burned out at school. It was according to their parents. About 15% reported falling asleep during class throughout the school year. Nowadays, many teenagers have difficulty getting up in the morning because they go to bed late, but it is a natural habit among teenagers to go to bed late. This shows that students need more sleep. Therefore, school is expected to start later in the morning. If students don't get enough sleep, school will be difficult. Lack of sleep can limit a person's potential to learn, listen, concentrate, and solve problems. They may forget important details like names, numbers and homework. All of these abilities are necessary to achieve many things in life. If students forget how to do any of these things, they won't learn anything from school. Especially since lack of sleep can lead to aggressive or inappropriate behavior. Acting out at school will get a student in trouble. Lack of sleep could also make students more vulnerable to acne, as not getting enough sleep can lead to skin problems. If school didn't start so early, students wouldn't have these problems. Many parents set bedtimes. But when kids know they have a bedtime, they don't want to go to sleep. A natural habit among adolescents is to go to bed late at night and wake up later in the morning. If children fall asleep when they want, they will wake up with at least eight hours of sleep. But that's only if school starts later in the morning. Having to wake up between six and seven in the morning disrupts children's sleep habits and needs. If school started later, it might help kids sleep all the time... middle of paper... or get more sleep each school night. That's according to the Landmark School Start Time study led by Kyla Wahlstrom of the University of Minnesota. Many studies have put forward the same idea. When schools changed mornings later, students consistently slept more each school night because they went to bed at or around the same time every night and could wake up later in the morning. School days should start later because students, who are sleep deprived, need more sleep. Getting more sleep will allow students to have a healthier lifestyle and improve their academic performance. Moving school start times will give students plenty of sleep, improve attendance and enrollment rates, increase daytime alertness, decrease student-reported depression, help them perform better at sports and activities, and will save money for schools. Lifestyles would be happier and healthier.
