His behavior truly changed when he was about to sell a white van (the same van that "the man from China" was riding in when he knocked it over) to a local mechanic for a little extra money. When the driver of the car realized there were people chained in the van, he offered Anthony $500 per person. Anthony could have easily taken the money and moved on with his life, but he had other plans in mind. He took the individuals to Chinatown and released them. He also gave a man forty dollars so that he could feed all those who were in chains. Anthony was not obligated to release these individuals or give them money to eat, but he did so because he felt it was the right thing to do. Crash depicted many different scenarios that many people experience on a daily basis. The film engages viewers in each other’s world. Everyone has something they are constantly fighting against, but the film shows that only the person going through difficulties has the ability to change what is happening.
