Alternative courses of action will be proposed as well as some recommendations for the company. Ultimately, we will answer the question of how performance management directly affects an organization's success in achieving its goals and mission.SummaryIn the case study, Peel Memorial Hospital has had many problems with its performance management system because employees were unwilling to accept the new approach. Many employees felt the changes had nothing to do with patient care or with them as a whole. Xerox Quality Services was used as a guide to help the hospital create a successful balanced scorecard. With the balanced scorecard, the company looks at its current goals and performance, decides what future goals and performance should be, and develops a plan on how to achieve and maintain those goals. Problems Employees were unaware of the company's goals and objectives. hospital. Many goals did not have measurable targets and their mission statements were outdated. None of the employees had a clear idea of where the hospital was going in the future, nor did they realize how closely the goals related to their work and environment.
