  • Essay / The impact of bullying on our children - 645

Nowadays, bullying in social life is not tolerated anywhere. The causes and effects of bullying are extremely damaging to a young child. The impact on children is enormous. There are warning signs to watch for when a young child is being bullied. Sometimes it is difficult to notice them. The consistency of bad behavior, depression and lack of communication with the child are easy to understand. Bullying is bad behavior, when others are mistreated and harmed physically or mentally. This doesn't just happen to young children but to everyone. A child is harmless when he is innocent and not exposed to bad behavior. Therefore, when they are exposed to another child who is extremely harsh and mean, they become hurt and afraid. The cause of bullying others is low self-esteem. This behavior usually comes from a bad environment. This person was probably mistreated and reprimanded in the wrong way. Lots of bullies for attention. Not just from parents but also from friends and strangers. Children are sometimes so scared that they don't even want to go to school. In many homes, parents fail to see the warning signs that cause children to become bullies or become victims of bullying. Feeling bullied must be horrible! Having a similar person be hurtful to the other. For a child who was not raised in a bad environment, it is extremely difficult to understand why another child his age would harm him. They will not understand that they are being bullied and will be afraid. The effect of being bullied or being the bully can be tragic. Children sometimes keep situations to themselves because they are afraid. The child becomes depressed. The depression becomes so intense. They make up excuses about body aches to avoid going...... middle of paper ...... and taking a long way for a child. This could be a challenge for those who were affected earlier in their lives. But positive affect can help them in the long run. Parents, schools and communities should come together more often to discuss and share ways to stop bullying. We can also teach our young people, nieces, nephews and neighbors how to defend themselves from harming anyone. Teaching right, wrong and truth about what is important. We are all different in colors, shapes and sizes, but that doesn't mean we are any less. Everyone will have opinions, it's okay to disagree. We are role models and we must show our children, who will be our future, how to live correctly without being bullies or being harassed. It's okay to talk, to tell someone about it. We can all make a difference by reducing this word BULLY that we use too much today..
