BC, when it was known as the barter system, introduced by the Guzman 2 tribes of Mesopotamia, then adopted by the Phoenicians Money had not yet been invented to allow people to exchange goods. When money was invented, bartering gradually expanded into retailing (Anderson, 1). Factory outlets then began selling to non-employees as well. In 1936, Anderson Little (a men's clothing manufacturer) opened, being the first outlet stores located away from the workplace. primary retail stores. This outlet store catered to anyone looking to purchase products at a discount (Couglan and Soberman, 4). In today's modern era, factory outlets now use the concept of getting excess products at a discounted price, at the expense of customers. Customers shop at outlet stores because they are known as a way to save money. Outlet stores use retail prices for some of their merchandise, fully aware that customers shop at these outlets to get discounted prices, not retail prices. It is better to shop at retail stores than outlet stores because of the store's location, the quality of their merchandise, and their consistency in keeping up with trends. Retail stores are better than outlet stores for shopping because of the location of the store.
