1.0 INTRODUCTIONI decided to choose Sinar Harian website to evaluate it as required by my lecture. The Sinar Harian website is an online newspaper. For me, online newspapers can be defined as a website that provides news and information about crime, sports, politics, university, finance and many more to users other than those in print. According to the definition I get from the Internet, the online journal or electronic journal is a self-contained, reusable, and updatable version of the traditional journal that acquires and maintains information electronically. People might think that online newspaper is similar to print newspaper, but it is not the same thing. The online newspaper is more interesting and user-friendly. Users can easily click on the button provided inside the website and it will display many news and issues inside and outside the country. To be honest, I used it as my first choice for reading an online newspaper rather than the printed one. The reason is that it's free. We don't have to pay anything. Yes, it's true. Apart from that, it contains a lot of information about our country and internationally and is frequently updated. From the closest news to sports, this site has reached a thousand users. This is a pretty good number because according to my research, this website is still new rather than other online newspapers. It’s important for a website to do this. The content must be accurate information. Also ...... middle of paper ...... make it people's first choice as an online newspaper, they should advertise and be more user friendly. I think the feedback form is one of the best solutions to know the opinion of users, in addition to knowing their weakness and the need to improve it further. For me, I agree with almost all the criteria as I am one of the users and readers of this website. I read it several times to get new information.
