    Psychology is the scientific study of the mind and behavior. Psychology includes many subfields of study such as human development, sports, health, clinical, social behavior, and cognitive processes. Many people go through difficulties every day, some more than others; it could be related to a mental disorder or condition affecting the mind. This is why psychologists are important in today's society. They are always working hard to find new drugs and therapeutic techniques to make life much easier. Psychology has been around for a while, which is not at all surprising considering that tons of people wonder every day why and how the brain works. as they do. Psychology dates back to the ancient Greeks. There is also evidence of psychological thinking in ancient Egypt. Psychology was a branch of philosophy until the 1870s, when it developed as an independent science. In 1879, Wilhelm Wundt established the first experimental psychology laboratory at the University of Leipzig, Germany. Later, in 1883, G. Stanley Hall, a student of Wilhelm Wundt, established the first American experimental psychology laboratory at Johns Hopkins University. In recent years, many discoveries and theories have emerged, such as the IQ test, how dreams work, and children's behavior. The spark of psychology came in the 1900s with many discoverers and inventions that are used today to help treat many disorders and conditions. From chimpanzee studies to the first neurotransmitter, the 1900s brought a lot to the field of psychology. This project really helped me understand my dream job better, I know what it's like to have problems you can't explain and I would be more than happy to help others. . The salary is nice but the best part is helping someone, that's the real reward.
