    Culture is defined as an accumulation of learning for generational groups of individuals within structured or non-structural societies. Culture consists of the fusion of linguistic heritage and communication techniques, health beliefs and practices, rituals and customs, and religious beliefs and practices. Many factors influence a culture such as environment, societal expectations and national origins. Culture shapes and defines who we are. It has its own identity and unique character. Culture is also known as the way a person behaves individually in social groups. How an individual learns, evaluates, and behaves depends on specific culture-specific values. Cultural perceptions and viewpoints provide the outlines or guides for shaping personal and shared values, individual beliefs, and the process of life. Culture shapes us as individuals and begins from the day we are born into this world. We learned from our parents what is wrong and what is right. Individuals always seem to seek spiritual beliefs when going through a difficult time in their lives. It is important to know cultural and spiritual nursing because the nurse can provide effective care and not be biased against a person based on their culture. Other cultures are valuable, so it is important for the nurse to recognize this. The nurse can identify with the client's values, beliefs, and moral judgments. This gives them a sense of security when you provide care. Spiritual care does not necessarily mean religious beliefs. Being sensitive to a customer's culture shows admiration and pride in that individual. Many religions have a way of interacting with nursing. Taboos and rituals are added to religious services related to healing and death. Death and dying are viewed differently by each cultural group, some view them as a natural part of life, while others simply believe that when your time comes, nothing can stop it. There are also different ways to grieve after death. Some choose to express their emotions out loud, others believe the person is in a better place. In some cultures, children are even separated from death, they are not allowed to see the corpse. Even some cultures do not allow pregnant women to view the corpse out of fear for the fetus. Many cultures also prohibit suicide. If the person commits suicide, they will not have a funeral. There are many factors that contribute to death and dying, depending on the type of culture..
