  • Essay / Social Media and Its Impact - 1467

Social media is a controversial topic in today's society. Some people believe that social media destroys real human interactions and relationships. While others believe that social media is a blessing for humanity. Social media makes human interaction much more convenient and much faster than real human interaction, it makes globalization a reality, it gives a chance to introverted people to express themselves and it also benefits the development of international relations , whether commercial or social. it is easy for people to communicate and interact with each other anytime and anywhere in the world. People can stay in touch with family and loved ones, regardless of the distance between them. This ability to communicate with people all over the world has made people much more open to other societies and other cultures. When people learn about other cultures, they become more open to new ideas, more open to change, and more tolerant of other cultures. There are some downsides to constantly being connected to everyone through social media. The biggest drawback is not communicating with loved ones and family through real-life interactions, but rather through social media. This is a serious problem for some people, especially those who use and are familiar with technology. Because they may not feel the need to interact with humans, they are simply more attracted to technology. People are able to communicate with each other at any time without fear of disturbing anyone. People can't call each other at two in the morning, but they can email each other or comment on each other's profile pictures. It makes people more connected and more involved in each other's lives.
