Literature “Media-Sport” is a term that, according to Miquel de Moragas, director of the Institute of Communication and the Center for Olympic Studies of the Autonomous University of Barcelona, has was derived from this term from the relationship between media and sport. He defines it as "one of the major forms of entertainment in modern societies but, as cultural theory has clearly shown, these forms of entertainment are also forms of production and a privileged vehicle for the dissemination of ideas on the identity, social relations, cultural exchanges, etc. » (De Moragas, 1996). In addition, "Media-Sport" has become one of the main places for demonstrating rituals, customs and traditions of social and cultural relations on a global scale. (De Moragas, 1996) Although there is an extensive literature analyzing both sports and media, the literature on the relationship between sports journalists and sports organizations is limited. In addition, through the direct purchase of the rights to world-class sporting events and competitions, Media has therefore become the main sponsor and rights holder of marketing, advertising and middle of paper......, there is a “symbiotic” relationship between sports media and sports organizations. But this relationship is tense, sensitive and nervous and, therefore, the expected “mutual benefit” is not fully achieved. We must therefore understand what happened between these two sides and who separated them. In other words, what are the reasons that have created such a gap between the two parties and how could this study contribute to bridging the fissures that mar the Media-Sport relationship? Accordingly, this article intends to deepen the understanding of the relationship between sports organizations. and the media. It will also assess the efficiency, competence and performance level of already existing media departments and find out why they are not functioning well and find out why some sports organizations do not have their own media departments to deal with sports journalists..
