  • Essay / Differences between Shakespeare and the real Macbeth

Shakespeare's writing about Macbeth captivated his audience and kept them spellbound. Macbeth is a classic story of greed and corruption. The more power a person has, the more corrupt they become. They needed what they did and even more, it was never enough. They would do whatever it took to get what they wanted, even if it meant killing the King of Scotland, just so they could have it all. Corruption controls and destroys lives and will make you someone others don't want to be around. It changed the lives of Scots and corruption still changes lives today. When a person has been in power for too long and the decisions they make directly conflict with others, they do not feel responsible for their actions. The facts remain, whether you prefer truth or gripping fiction, both Macbeth stories will be remembered for years to come.
