Narrative reporting is a collection of information used to represent a company's business, market position, strategy used, performance and future prospects. The events that occurred, the different details and descriptions are generally at the center of narrative reporting. The narrative report tasks the company presenter to put in a certain order the events that occurred, which lead to any type of compilation or problem. The main body of the essay will include a critical discussion of some key characteristics required for the production of a good narrative report. It will also include a critical discussion of the usefulness of narrative reporting in managerial and shareholder decision-making. It also describes some of the most important characteristics of producing a good annual report. The public company used as an example to support the discussion in the essay is Anheuser-Busch InBev. The company is a global leader in the beverage and brewing industry, with more than 25 percent global market share and, as of March 2012, was the largest fast-moving consumer goods company by asset value. business.
