Who would have been the best ruler for Rome in the 6th century BC? Many believe it could have been Marcus Antonius, Marcus Brutus or the great Julius Caesar. Marcus Brutus is known to be the most honorable man in Rome at the time and was well respected. Caesar is the ruler and has a successful army. He also seeks wealth and power. Antony is Caesar's right-hand man and good friend. He later gains the position Caesar held and also seeks wealth and power. All three men are seeking the position, but Brutus is obviously the one most suited to it and also the only one who never got the chance. Julius Caesar is the leader of Rome and seeks to become king in a short time. Although he is a good military strategist, he lacks the knowledge to run the government and is too greedy to care about the peasants during his lifetime. Caesar is synonymous with conquest and power and he is afraid of nothing. Before being murdered, he said: “The things that threatened me only looked at my back.
