    And since we are, then is it worth going to college? Obviously, the answer is yes. Without college, without university, our knowledge of the world would be less and therefore our ability to develop more limited. Knowledge is power, as they usually say. And we are so quickly useful, as soon as we have the title of engineer, architect or doctor, we stop. This is called a successful strategy, as opposed to maximization strategies. By successful, I mean that when we reach a sufficient, satisfactory level, so that a certain amount of work remains to be trained and worked on. But one of the biggest lessons that pushes you to go to college is self-confidence, think of college as the next step to the real world. Living together most of the time with colleagues but with your own schedule, living alone, setting your own schedule, being responsible for your own tasks, are all things that help you prepare for adulthood in the relatively mild campus atmosphere. If we worked in such a maximized way, we would not stop studying when it is sufficient, we would stop when we have reached the best of our abilities. And utilitarianism, as we bitterly note, is only a valid short-term strategy. If we only focus on minimum coverage, we won't get very far. In the long run, it's a good idea to maximize.
