At home, you don't have to worry about conversations with strangers or distractions from the sounds and lights of cell phones. Large crowds of people in a theater can also be difficult, as it's very likely that there will always be someone excusing themselves to go to the bathroom and distracting others from the movie. Although movie theater seats generally offer maximum comfort, everyone has the opportunity to snuggle up on the couch with as many soft blankets and fluffy pillows as they want. Intimacy is very limited in the theater and it is difficult to express emotions as freely as at home. We could laugh out loud or start sobbing with a box of tissues nearby, and no one would judge. In public, respect is obligatory. A person must completely filter what they say or do because of the audience. Finally, when watching a movie at home, you have the option to pause, rewind, or forward at any time. Overall, it depends on the person whether they prefer to venture out to the movies or enjoy privacy at home. The movie theater or living room are both great ways to watch a movie, but
