They chatted about each other's work and talked about their plans for the upcoming weekend. His hand gently held hers and the two were as content as ever. All of a sudden, a soccer ball flew through the air and landed under the bench the man and his wife were sitting on. Two young children, a boy and a girl, followed him and stopped dead in their tracks, a good ten meters from the bench when they realized who was sitting on it. “It’s okay,” the man said, “I’ve got your ball!” He reached under the bench and grabbed the ball, preparing to throw it to the two young children. The little girl made a sick face. “No thanks, but my mother says I’m not allowed to talk to you or go near you.” The man and his wife looked at each other and smiled. "We understand. We hear that a lot. But... can you at least let us introduce ourselves?" The woman begged the children. The boy and girl looked at each other hesitantly, stepped back and shook their heads..
