The only daughter survives and her name is Pai. Her father's name is Porourangi and he left New Zealand and his daughter grew up with her grandparents. Evidence and Citation: The story goes about Pai that she was saved by the whale after losing a kayak in the sea. He angered the whale and established the Maori people. Comment: This provides the framework he needs to convey the division between current life and conventional life. Topic Sentence: As his grandfather Koro, the main leader of their community, develops anxiety over the lack of an heir, he begins to explore the young leader of the community. Evidence and quotes: He shows them the methods of the extraordinary pioneer and the stories of their precursors. Commentary: In this process, he pushes Paikea further to help their family, which is an important part of the film. This further highlights the difficulties she faces due to the criticism and isolation that come with having to be a female leader in a male-dominated society. Topic sentence: Paikea tries to interrogate her grandfather so she learns the exercises from a mysterious young male companion in the network, and what's more, her uncle Rawiri helps her become familiar with the exercises. Evidence and Citation: Additionally, she learns all the important skills to become the next boss after her grandfather. She takes on an imperative job in cinema. Moreover, Paikea, in time, would finally have to overcome the difficulties to gain her grandfather's trust. Finally, she sacrifices herself to spare her premises. After being seen by Koro as an extraordinary pioneer, she gives them a reason to pursue their lifestyle and advance their family beliefs amidst an urbanized, materialistic and logical cutting-edge society. Concluding Paragraph: In conclusion, I really enjoyed it after watching this movie because it is a movie that can touch the hearts of a million people. I can understand how they maintain their way of life and I really enjoy seeing these films about Maori culture and their conventions because they are not the same as other cultures. Whale Rider shows so many interesting and emotional themes, of disappointment and trust, of strength and will, all seen within the framework of past thoughts, current and future morality. This cinematic story gradually satisfied the then usual global cinema advertisements. References IMDb. (2019). Whale Rider (2002) - IMDb.
