The Lejofonds is an organization that wants to help the poorest people in Uganda. Lejofonds was founded in 2005. Various projects are underway at Lejofonds. The “Goat to Goat” project is one of these projects. Project Goat to Goat Money is raised to send goats to poor families in Uganda, where Lejofonds has been active since 2009. It is carried out in and around the towns of Seeta Nazigo and Nkonkonjeru, in eastern Uganda. The idea is that families will receive more income from the goat and can use this money to send their children to school. People who receive a goat must first receive training on how to care for a goat. The training is also organized by Lejofonds. Additionally, those who own a goat must give the first goat born to the next family on the list. As a result, more and more families are acquiring a goat.
