A More Perfect Union influenced a large crowd on the grounds that the majority of the audience understood where he was coming from, his speech helped realize that we need a change and the way Obama used emotional appeals in his speech to help address today's issues worked very well. This strengthened his argument since he provided his personal statements; he made the audience understand how he feels and how he wants to contribute to a change. The statements he used targeted a broad audience such as our country's unsung community, African Americans and immigrants.
