  • Essay / Autobiographical Paper - 1702

For a life of wonderful accomplishments and fulfilling joy. Let's hope it stays that way and everyone can live a beautiful and happy life. I was born on May 29, 1990. The beginning of a new era. Unlike most children born healthy and weighing 6 pounds or more, I wasn't so lucky. When I was born at 5:02 p.m., I arrived weighing 4 pounds, 1 ounce. For the next two months, I spent my life in a small plastic box because my heart and other things didn't fully develop. That's what I was told. I guess my life from age 1 to 4 was good because I don't remember anything from that part of my childhood. I remember, however, that when I first started kindergarten, I had a lot of problems doing homework and making the list to the teacher. Well, after a few tests at the doctor, it turned out that I was born with severe hearing loss. At that time, technology was not up to par with today. At the time, hearing aids were so big that you felt like you were wearing a cap on your ear that weighed like a brick. From kindergarten to fourth grade, I was constantly made fun of. It gets even worse when I get to fifth grade. With the advancement of technology and the release of new auditory advertisements, the new one I received had an antenna sticking out. It was even more embarrassing and visible. Once again, I intended to make fun. As soon as I got to high school, my life changed, only I thought so. I must say that I am lucky to have loving parents and not to worry about money. I ate g every night and had a roof over my head. My freshman year I made the baseball team and we won first in state that year. My second year there, I did my sophomore year of college, which was really good because driving in Athens was always... middle of paper... then he shoots through the earth- full and hits another car head-on. It was as if I saw the accident in slow motion. I've never seen anything like it in my life. The crashes you see in the movies didn't do it justice because you knew it was real, where real people were involved. Someone got hurt. We all stopped and ran towards the car that was close to us. He was our buddy, somehow he was still awake, he was in shock about what had happened. He was bleeding a lot from his face. The only way to get him out was through the passenger side, because his door was stuck. We then started running towards the other vehicle, which contained two people in their late 30s, both of whom were unaware. We had to break the top of the car to get them both out because both doors were stuck. It was almost like something happened in my dream.
