Occasionally, when I recall my childhood memories, my parents always took me to the hospital in the middle of the night or tried to find the right doctor for my allergies. Others might just take a few medications and rest for a few days from a cold, but my story is totally different. A cold could cause allergies, asthma and fever when I was young. That's why I spent most of my time visiting the doctor and staying in the hospital. At the age of 10, my parents decided to direct me towards oriental medicine and acupuncture. Even though I hated the taste of Chinese medicine and was really afraid of needles, these methods really helped my body. I was able to behave like a normal child after a few years of acupuncture and oriental medicine treatment. That's why I always wrote about how I wanted to become a good doctor every time I had to write essays in college. Chiropractic and acupuncture would be the ideal career I would like to pursue, being able to help young children protect themselves and being able to give back what I have learned from my sporting experience. The main reason why I wanted to train and help people is that I got injured very often when I was young, but I didn't care and no one asked me to do healthcare...... middle of paper......all we have to offer. Secondly, even though I am aiming for another career field, I still chose to take courses like AutoCad, Photoshop and I am getting my international license on September 10th. Third, I am constantly learning how to train and improve my body. I volunteer at a local fitness center to help those who cannot afford a personal trainer. And through this teaching opportunity, I learned a lot about our bodies and how to train different muscles. I think this will have a great influence on my future learning in the classroom. In conclusion, I would like to end with a quote from Dr. Monte Hessler: “You earn this right by paying your dues, planning ahead, and taking risks. » And that's exactly what I'm doing: getting into the University of Southern California Health Sciences, studying hard, passing the exam, and helping people who need me..
