Essay / Mafia Girls - 664
“I'm going to Roseburn. Look, I suggest you get Luvinia out of here before she gets lost. The last time this happened, it didn't go well for Adelina or your friend. I don't even know what to say to this random girl, but I mean, it was nice of her to warn me. So I guess this has already happened. I can't believe there is a girl in this world who can match Luvinia's strength. I finally come out of the trance I was in and without thinking twice, I jump right in front of Luvinia. Once again, the pain of being forced out of me comes back with a fist in the face. With one eye open, I can see the expression on Adelina's face. Her eyes looked like she had murdered someone and she stopped. Luvinia starts yelling at her for the act she just did, but in her defense, it was a stupid mistake I made. Suddenly, a tall man separates us. He gives Luvinia and me a disapproving look and tells her to get out. Luvinia was still in shock but she eventually got over it and started to walk out. I run after her calling her but she doesn't answer. Once in the car, I noticed that Adelina had done a lot of damage to her face. She had a bloody nose and a few scratches and I'm pretty sure when I get home my dads won't like my face either. “I don't know why I keep moving forward, in this case, fighting, like an idiot. I guess that’s what they call clumsiness,” she thought. “It always happens.” She must have seen my worried face and tries again to reassure me that everything is okay. But before I can even say anything, everything goes black. I wake up and find myself in the hospital. I guess my body couldn't keep up with my illness and the physical damage it had suffered over the past week...... middle of paper ......putation and somehow became my hero. As for me, it's as if all my dreams are starting to burn and turn into ashes, before my eyes. So far, my first year hasn't really gone the way I hoped, but life doesn't always turn out the way you want it to. In the end, the only thing I can do is close my eyes without turning around. “Thank you,” I manage to say to Luvinia and then darkness again. “Kara!” my father shouts. “You’ll be late for school.” Oh no, that's not how I want to start the first day of school. My mother always told me to make sure I got up on time so I could plan everything in advance. I rush to school and get there before the bell rings. “Okay, everyone settle down,” said Ms. Linda, my homeroom teacher. "Before we start classes, we have a new transfer student this year that I would like to introduce to you." Is it me or is it what they call Déjà vu??
