Since birth, I have immersed myself in a wide range of veterinary settings: from zoo to laboratory, from farm to urban clinic. My efforts have fostered an evolving understanding and respect for both the medical elements of veterinary practice and the wide-ranging responsibility of the veterinarian in the global community. Some of these myriad intersections include public safety, agricultural stability, particularly in subsistence farming regions, community education, and relevance to human medicine. My experiences in this unusually wide range of settings have cultivated an awareness, versatility, responsibility, and dedication that, coupled with continually honed clinical skills, have prepared me to be an exemplary member of the veterinary profession..
