    Role play: In role play, learners are assigned roles which they play within a scenario given by the lecturer. The teacher must choose a role play scenario that gives learners the opportunity to prepare what they have been taught. The role should also keep learners interested. A scenario for a role play can be found from the things they have encountered in their life, in a book or a movie. After choosing a role-play scenario, learners should then brainstorm ideas for how the scenario would progress. The lecturer should try to keep the skill set needed for the role play simple or to the point that learners can understand. Role plays that contain problems or arguments can be great motivators to get the role play characters talking. Once the role play is chosen, the appropriate use of language will come next. The use of vocabulary must be in line with the grade level of the role play. The lecturer should then provide learners with solid information and simple role descriptions. The speaker can then either ask for volunteers or assign roles in advance, the latter solution keeping things simple and without wasting time. Finally, once the role play is complete, the lecturer will take the time to listen to the rest of the learner's opinions about the game. The benefits of role play are that learners become active participants in the lesson and are therefore able to understand that they are participating in it. scenario; they learn to manage conflicts; learn to look at situations differently; also forming empathy and reflective insight.
