    The 90s were an exceptional decade for music that, unfortunately, has not been covered until today. The decade mentioned above saw the emergence of alternative rock music as an outlet for those who were saturated by the excesses that characterized the '80s and the lack of substance in some of their music. As a result, during the 1990s, music audiences began to value talent over looks, catchy beats, meaningless lyrics, and flashy choreography. Additionally, during this era, music was intended as a means to inspire and move listeners, rather than simply as a tool for product placement. Thus, the 90s gave birth to a phenomenal music genre that is yet to be surpassed as it created a deep connection with the grieving souls of a generation, valued the inspiring quality of music over complex musical arrangements and introduced the world to a plethora of invaluable artists. for whom music was their top priority. Alternative rock music of the 90s managed to capture the plight of a young generation afflicted by multiple struggles. Above all, this musical genre accurately expressed the concerns of those who could not imagine a prosperous future as successful members of society and for whom the American dream was only a distant notion. For example, in his song “Loser,” Beck Hansen skillfully described the apathy that grips an individual when faced with the inevitable bleak prospects of life. Likewise, this type of music resonated with all those individuals who were struggling to feel good about themselves. As a result, the world is left with nothing but an endless parade of shocking behavior, skimpy outfits, and mediocre music. Unfortunately, while the current state of affairs is any indication of what the future holds for music audiences, the magic generated by '90s alternative rock will not be matched in years to come..
