Egypt, located in North Africa, has so much to offer and so much that we can learn from. Its history is very old and interesting. Most of Egypt's ancient history can be obtained by reading the Bible and dates back as far as 400 BC. Their first writings called hieroglyphics were even false. There are many natural resources in Egypt, such as the Nile, papyri, and the many animals that live there. The Egyptians had many panting in the tombs. They also had many musicians and dancers performing at parties. Egypt has a lot of interesting history for us as well as many fascinating natural and cultural resources. The history of Egypt dates back to 400 BC. In the history of Egypt, they built very tall buildings called pyramids where they buried their kings called pharaohs. .In Egypt there are different periods which have different names. The predynatic period ranged from c. 5000-3100 BC and then comes the Archaic period which goes from c. 3100-2686 BC Next comes the Old Kingdom period from c. 2686-2181 BC The Old Kingdom was the time when the Egyptians made the pyramids. The Great Pyramid has more than 2 million stone blocks. The first intermediate period then comes from c. 2181-255 BC Next is the Middle Kingdom period which runs from c. 2055-1786 BC Next comes the second intermediate period which runs from c. 1786-1567 BC Then the New Kingdom period which goes from c. 1567-1085 BC The Third Intermediate Period was from 1085 to 664 BC. The last period is the late period which ranged from c. 664-332 BCIn history, there have been many wars and invasions. An invasion into Egypt was recorded in 324 AD when the Romans took Egypt.
