A homosexual, as defined by the dictionary, is a person related to or characterized by a tendency to direct sexual desire toward another person of the same sex. Homosexuality is ethical and I will provide rational and irrational arguments against the subject. Here are some objections: it is forbidden in the Bible and frowned upon by God; It is not natural; Both men and women are needed to reproduce; There are no known examples in nature; and the most common argument regarding homosexuality is whether it is a choice or human biology. My arguments will ignore a major element in considering the morality of homosexuality, the law. Yes, many people know that stealing and murder are both bad, but that relies on socialization and learning passed down from previous generations. The point is not to ignore the rules, but historical examples related to homosexuality will not help prove its ethics. A rational and autonomous decision-making process must be used in order to decipher right from wrong, which can lead to solid and concrete answers. As human beings, it is natural to avoid things that are different from the norm; we discriminate. It is very important to get rid of discrimination to better clarify the decision to make. To draw a valid conclusion about homosexuality, it is essential to forget what they were taught during socialization, mainly from birth to adulthood.
