    Throughout the play "Death of a Salesman" there are several themes, some of which are obvious and others are just noticeable. Much of it revolves around the main character Willy and how he has confused reality with illusions and constant dreams. Based on my experience with “Death of a Salesman,” I can say that several themes coalesce in this piece. For example, the author has used these themes to create a strong central meaning or message that the reader can clearly understand. Overall, I believe that Arthur Miller delivered the conflict, self-deception, and failure that are at the root of the many themes included in his book. The conflict is detected largely around the character of Willy and everything that revolves around him. On the one hand, he constantly starts fights and meaningless arguments over absolutely nothing. However, Charley, a friend of Willy's, offers him a job "I found a job, I told you." Why are you offering me a job?
