Erick Rosales3-31-14FocusBuild and BuildHelping people create tools or projects that will be used frequently is a great act of kindness that can be done for anyone. Whether it's something with a practical use or created purely for entertainment purposes, the ability to build is an invaluable tool. Building is one of the most useful things humans can do. Almost anything can be built with enough time and effort. Creating buildings is something humanity has been doing for many years. Whether it's a small shelter big enough to accommodate one or two people, or a skyscraper designed to accommodate thousands of people, all buildings have been constructed by humanity. Different buildings serve different purposes and functionalities. Almost every building is unique in one way or another. Humans building things have been around for some time, like Stonehenge, whose exact purpose remains a mystery even today. Other buildings have been constructed that are absolutely stunning to see, such as the pyramids of Egypt where the construction of a pyramid took place over many years. A shed or small storage building is a great addition that can be made to a building such as someone's home. Although many places such as Lowe's or Home Depot are pre-made, to meet an individual's particular needs, it is best to build it specifically for your needs. The satisfaction of having built something with your knowledge and skills is lost when you buy something ready-made. Another common thing to create new buildings is to remodel the old one. By renovating an old house or any other type of housing, new life and new uses arise from the new building. Remodeling can be done...... middle of paper ......th years. Damage can be avoided with careful planning and allowing time to do basic cleaning to avoid costly repairs later. Construction can be a vital skill that can be learned with time and experience; however, it is up to the manufacturer to learn. Works Cited Montlake, Simon.
